NetDay Workshop in Atlantic County
- Our first course was titled "Super Tech", and provided a
technology overview for the superintendents of the 24 school districts
in the county. The course schedule provides the syllabus and
timings. This course was described in "Teaching
the teachers" in the Tech-Life section of the Philadelphia
Inquirer on Thursday, August 14.
- The Atlantic County ETTC was inaugurated on July 1, 1997 with an electronic
ribbon-cutting ceremony that demonstrated the power of distance learning
technology by bringing together about 100 people at three different
locations across New Jersey. The Atlantic City Press article in the July 2, 1997
issue describes many aspects of the 21 new centers, with a special focus
on Atlantic County.
