Through NJSSI Specialty Site funding, the Southern Regional ETTC presents a certificate series that defines "what every math or science teacher should know" about technology integration in their teaching strategies and subject material.

Five Technology Integration in Math and Science Education (TIMSE) certificates
will be offered:

• Math and Science - Grades K to 5
• Math - Middle School
• Math - High School
• Science - Middle School
• Science - High School

Although some content will be common to all the certificates, material presented will be aligned to the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards and to the Cumulative Progress Indicators specific to each set of grade levels.

Each certificate provides 30 hours of hands-on guided professional development and is divided into five six-hour workshops that are ideally taken in sequence. Participants will register for each component individually, and will receive their certificate after all five components are completed.The Online Syllabus provides more detail on class activities..
