Modern learning is global, providing intercultural understanding and collaboration to achieve curriculum objectives and bring the world to students. Google My Maps, Google Earth and Google Hangouts are the go-to tools for connecting your classroom to experts and other classrooms around the world during collaborative projects. In this workshop participants will learn to transform the classroom experience and cross oceans in seconds, while adopting new pedagogies for flat learning that encourages multiple perspectives. Participants will learn how to connect with other educators who are working at the same grade level on similar standards.
