Chromebooks in the Classroom

Description:

Chromebooks are quickly becoming the standard devices used in the classroom and with good reason. They are affordable, durable and work well with multiple users. This workshop covers most of the techniques necessary for utilizing Chromebooks in the classroom. We will look extensively at the settings, log-in options, logging in multiple users at one time, and why or why not to use guest mode. We will discuss memory management concepts and how to reset a temperamental machine. We will look at the accessibility options and how to make the more accessible.  We will also explore a few generally useful apps and how to manage those apps on your student’s Chromebooks.
