Lesson Plan Contest Rules
The Atlantic County ETTC encourages the creative incorporation of technology in the classroom to infuse the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards (NJ CCCS).
The ETTC wishes to build on the many exciting ideas and resources available today in Atlantic County, and also wants to foster the growth of new ideas on how technology fits in K-12 education.
The winners of this contest will provide the ETTC and their colleagues with valuable models to follow!Entries should be delivered to: The Atlantic County ETTC Lesson Plan Contest, Room E-012, Richard Stockton College of New Jersey, Pomona NJ 08240 (Applications will not be accepted via fax or email.)

Prizes: Grand Prize is a Sony Mavica digital camera. First Prizes are LexMark color printers. We have also received exciting gift certificates from several businesses in this area.

Contest Rules:
- The entry can be a lesson plan covering one or more days of instruction; an instruction unit covering several days of instruction; or a thematic project.
- The entry must include a completed Application Form.
- The entry should include the use of technology in the classroom which may include – but is NOT limited to – the Internet, CD-ROMs, educational software, video or distance learning technologies.
Categories
Category 1: Instruction suitable for Grades Pre-K through 2
Category 2: Instruction suitable for Grades 3 through 5
Category 3: Instruction suitable for Grades 6 through 8
Category 4: Instruction suitable for Grades 9 through 12
- The entry must be submitted in both hardcopy and electronic form. Three hard copies of the entry, including the Application Form, must be provided. The electronic version can be submitted on PC or Macintosh disks in a format readable by Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Claris Works or other popular software packages. (Call the ETTC with specific software questions.)
- Any individual school teacher or other school district employee in Atlantic County may submit entries to this contest.
- Participants may provide one copy of supporting materials such as videotapes, CD-ROMs, etc. Supporting materials can be picked up at the Atlantic County ETTC after judging is complete.
- Participants agree to give the Atlantic County ETTC rights to reproduce the entries for distribution to other districts and posting on the ETTC website.
