Professional Development

Teachers will participate in several training opportunities:

Math Institute Workshops based on NJ DOE Math Standards:
- Number and Numerical Operations
- Geometry and Measurement
- Patterns and Algebra
- Data Anlaysis, Probability, and Discrete Mathematics
- Mathematical Processes

Technology Integration for Math and Science Education - a certificate series that defines "what every math or science teacher should know" about technology integration in their teaching strategies and subject material. The Elementary (Grades K-5) certificate is scheduled at Egg Harbor Township High School for Fall 2003. Additional certificates series will be scheduled throughout the coming months.

Starting to Teach - a workshop series for new Elementary and Middle School teachers
