Learning Stations (6-12)
The objective of this session is to understand and implement learning stations to meet the needs of all students in the classroom. Teachers will leave with a deeper understanding of how to include activities to meet the needs of all learners and group the students accordingly. Although there will be an emphasis on literacy instruction, the strategies can be used in any academic setting.

Next Generation Science Standards (6-12)
Reading is critical to master the NGSS standards and related assessments. Participants will learn how to design lessons incorporating tasks focused on improving students' scientific literacy (Science Practice 8 Obtaining, Evaluating, and Communicating Information), as well as the importance of teaching students how to read a scientific text, determine the central ideas, identify claims, summarize evidence and build background knowledge. Together we will develop a lesson with different media resources to address scientific phenomena.

Makerspaces (6-12)
How can arts-infused education and makerspaces support student learning? This workshop will explore TAB or Teaching for Artistic Behaviors: with the belief that the student is the artist and the classroom is their studio. Within this studio students will acquire and expand their Habits of the Mind by developing in the following areas: idea generation, goal setting, materials usage, documentation, reflection, and sharing the whole process.

Makerspaces (K-5)
From this workshop teacher will be able to successfully implement a whole year, school wide, monthly Makerspace Program. Teachers will be participate in Makerspace activities, gain information to start up and maintain the program, and receive an idea book with activities, supply lists, directions, resources, and templates. Teachers will also be shown how to apply their Makerspace knowledge into their classrooms across all subject areas.

Personalized Learning (6-12)
The workshop will include how I went about implementing personalized learned (self-paced classroom), what I have learned from this experience and how my students benefit from this type of class. Teachers will be able to see examples of how the class is ran, how to prep, meet the needs of every student, execute lessons and so forth. I will discuss what I found works and what does not work for the class and how to describe this class to the students and parents. Teachers will be able to discuss different issues that may arise during this setting and work through how we can overcome those issues to achieve this setting full potential. Lastly, we will begin to work on setting up our self paced classroom, view different technologies to aid in the instruction and other useful strategies

I would like to present a workshop on utilizing technology to provide students with individualized learning. Strategies and time management skills that will provide the teacher with the ability to utilize data to drive instruction and work in small groups. Additionally, I have been completing coursework on Problem Based learned and sustainability. I would be able to provide professional development on how to do a problem based learning project on local factors.
