Similar forms

In geometry, similar forms have the same shape, even if they are different sizes.

Fractals have "self-similar" shapes. If you look carefullly you will see the shapes repeated over and over again in the object. Or it means that the smaller and smaller details of the fractal have the same geometrical characteristic as the original, larger form.

For example...
One small branch of this fern... looks like the big piece..
