Description: Fill your classroom repertoire with helpful technology teacher tools!  We will explore some of the best uses of the Internet and websites for your classroom, such as lesson enrichment activities and webquests.  We will discover teacher resources that work for you.  We will introduce making easy classroom webpages using free internet hosts.

 

  1. Introductions
  2. Set Up a Bookmark folder
    1. Favorites / Organize Favorites / New Folder
    2. Type in your name
    3. Move folder to top of list for ease of use
  3. Put Bookmarks in your folder
    1. Favorites / Add to Favorites / Click on your folder and then OK
    2. Click Create In button to show folders
  4. Set Up a Word Document to save links
    1. Make a Table
    2. Table / Insert Table
    3. 2 Columns, 2 Rows
    4. Left Column is for website, right column is for comments
    5. Save document on your diskette as links.doc
  5. Open up your lesson template
    1. Open R:\lesson.doc
    2. Save As to save on your diskette
    3. Choose a topic for today
