What is Technology Integration?
Technology integration is use the use of computer-based or electronic media resources as tools for student learning.

The use of technology in the classroom can effectively impact student learning when the technology is integrated fully into the teaching. Technology enables the following:
- Students to become motivated, engaged and learn actively
- Authentic learning
- Collaborative learning
- Explore, discover and produce knowledge
- Meets the multiple learning styles and intelligences students have
- Students to become proficiency in technology literacy skills
- Performance-based assessments

Planning for Technology Integration:
Before you are ready to use technology, consider the following:

- Understand why to use technology
- Determine what you want the students to learn/learning objectives
- Prepare the assessment (See technology skills surveys for examples)
- Design the activity
- Design the process
- Prepare for classroom management related to the use of technology
