Tips for making the connections
- Have a "Plan B", that is another lesson that can be substituted at the last minute if the connections do not work!!
- Do a "trial run" or test connection, to be sure that you can connect to the remote site.
- Prompt or remind students of "Video conferencing Behavior" prior to making a connection.
- Have a telephone available and exchange phone numbers with the site that you are connecting to.
- Remind students and adults in room, not to chat.
- Do not lecture more than 15 minutes!!
- Vary activites and include as much interaction as possible.
